The Cornell University Food Executive Program is designed to meet the needs of current and future leaders in the food and consumer products industries.

Participants interact with world-class instructors on a wide variety of retail industry issues that impact the profitability of all types of food industry firms. Attendees learn through group projects and simulations with other executives from leading companies from around the world.

Who Should Attend top

This challenging program is targeted toward middle- and upper-level executives, including those soon be promoted into general management positions. Food and CPG retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, marketers, and service providers from arund the world send their current and future leaders. Participants network with business partners throughout the industry and leave Cornell with new ideas, new perspectives, and new friends.

Curriculum top

The 9-day program is built around a broad-based curriculum of knowledge and skills required for senior food industry executives. Topics include industry dynamics, personal leadership styles, critical industry issues, retailing trends, financial analysis, format development, and supply chain dynamics. Group projects, case studies and simulations foster interaction and networking.

Program Details top

Tuition: $7995

Tuition covers lodging, continental breakfast, lunch, several special dinners, books, and supplies. Transportation and personal items are not included. Accommodations include an individual room in Cornell’s Statler Hotel, located in the center of campus and providing first-class rooms and dining facilities, as well as state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities.

Application Deadline

Space in the Food Executive Program is limited, so it is important to apply as early as possible (before April is recommended). Complete the application form and mail or fax it to Cornell. Applicants will be accepted in the order that applications are received.
